Project Manager - Bristol Bay Area Health Corporation
Statement / Scope of work:
The Bristol Bay Area Health Corporation is seeking an intermittent project manager. The Project Manager (PM) independently oversees projects from start to finish which typically involves multiple locations, systems, and areas. The PM applies best practice project management principles and utilizes project management methodologies. The role is to manage large project teams; assess, plan and execute complex projects; and communicate to sponsors, stakeholders, and project team members. Along with leadership, the PM will create and lead the team, monitor project progress, set deadlines, solve issues that arise, manage project budgets, ensure stakeholder satisfaction, and evaluate project performance.
The Project Manager will use their extensive Healthcare and Information Technology expertise to implement strategic initiatives while instilling project management processes and culture. This will drive and optimize project efficiencies while improving patient care. There are several project opportunities that will present themselves. A project example is implementing a fully functioning, patient centered accommodations program for patients within the Bristol Bay region that go into the Bristol Bay Area Health Corporation (BBAHC) main campus, located in Dillingham, Alaska for services that require overnight stays and ensuring that can bill Medicare and Medicaid and other applicable insurance payers for the lodging.
