Safety & Compliance Manager

Summary:
The Safety & Compliance Manager is responsible for implementation and monitoring of the Chugachmiut’s safety and compliance programs. This position provides assistance to the Executive Director and Chugachmiut’s Safety Committee to ensure the organization meets all standards, rules, and regulations set forth by federal, state, and local governing agencies. The Safety and Compliance Officer works closely with the Executive Director and Chugachmiut Safety Committee to ensure the organization maintains current and relevant policies and procedures throughout all clinic sites.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, listening, and presentation.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Work Hours:
Hours worked are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with an hour for lunch. This a full-time 37.5 hours per week and 1950 hours a year position. Chugachmiut maintains a non-smoking and drug & alcohol free work environment. There may be occasional travel to the villages of the region, must be willing and able to travel in light aircraft.
