Expeditor for Backcountry Lodge

Eleven Experience is expanding its operations into Alaska. We are seeking creative, passionate, flexible, collaborative team members who are willing to do what it takes to accomplish the tasks at hand. 

We are currently seeking candidates for our Expeditor position. This is a seasonal position running through the spring into early fall. This position is responsible for managing and planning guest and employee logistics to and from the property. The position organizes items being brought to and from the property to Anchorage.  The ideal candidate is organized, hard-working, eager and a strong multi-tasker. Candidates must be located in Anchorage. 

Position Purpose

• Responsible for transporting goods from one place to another as quickly and efficiently as possible as well as organizing all items coming and going from the lodge

Responsibilities & Duties

• Keeps storage space at Rust’s Flying Service clean, neat and organized.

• Help load and unload guest planes.

• Pick up supplies from Costco, Fred Meyer, and other specialty stores.

• Coordinate with Lodge Managers on what items they may need from town.

• Be a point person for guests while they are waiting for their air taxi.

• Escort guests around town if their flight is delayed out to the lodge.

• Organize trash pick-up and filling propane tanks in town.

• Receive mail/packages and drop off at our shed at Rust’s in a timely manner.

• Engage and respond to guests in a positive, friendly and supportive manner, including meeting their expressed and unexpressed needs.

• Ability to lift and carry fifty pounds.

• Professionally represent Winterlake and its Mission, Vision and Values.

• Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
