Mid-state contractors and sheet metal workers local 218c joint apprenticeship training committee will be accepting applications February 22nd to February 26th between the hours of 4:00 and 6:00 pm at 605 s. Country fair drive, champaign, Illinois. Additional dates may be available, contact jatc218c@gmail.com for more information.
Qualifications for apprenticeship:
A. Applicants shall be at least 18 years of age.
B. Applicants shall possess a valid Illinois driver's license. To be presented at time of application.
C. Applicants must be a high school graduate or possess a GED certificate to be presented at time of application.
D. Applicants must reside and have been a resident for at least three months in one of the following counties: Champaign, Coles, Cumberland, Douglas, Ford, Moultrie, Piatt, Shelby, or Vermilion.
E. Applicants must be physically fit to perform the work of the trade and must pass a drug screening prior to employment.
F. Applicants must pass a written exam to be considered for employment.
