Commercial Property Manager
Anchorage, AK

Our client: A leader in commercial property management in Anchorage is seeking an experienced individual to be responsible for the day-to-day management of commercial real estate properties within the client portfolio. This position oversees the operations of each building including budgeting, maintenance, repair, capital improvement projects, leasing, and tenant relations. The role also supports team members in the performance of the company. At a supervisory level, this position coordinates the activities of maintenance staff and subcontractors. 

Would you like to: 

  • Manage and supervise the administration, improvement, maintenance, and general operations of commercial buildings within the portfolio.
  • Renew tenant leases and lease and advertise vacant space in the company portfolio.
  • Conduct regularly scheduled and unscheduled on-site inspections of common areas, tenant spaces, vacant spaces, mechanical rooms, roofs, exterior perimeter, and other areas.
  • Maintain outsourced maintenance, landscaping, snow removal and other contracts applicable to the building portfolio.
  • Prepare Annual Operating budgets and financial reports for the properties.
  • Review monthly operating reports, accounts payable and financial statements.
  • Coordinate repairs and/or maintenance on an as-needed basis of the grounds, facilities, and equipment.
  • Act as a liaison between vendors, tenants, and building owners.
  • Perform project management functions related to tenant construction and property capital projects consistent with local codes.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Ideally you have: 

  • Three to five years of commercial property management experience a must
  • Valid Driver’s license with clean driving record and reliable transportation.
  • Current Alaska Real Estate License or ability to obtain one within the first 90 days of employment
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills, with ability to train others.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Regular attendance required.
