Triniteam was co-founded by Sister Claire Marie Wick, a Franciscan nun in Eau Claire, who in 1973 was providing outreach and visitation for jail inmates. In 1977, Triniteam was established as a not-for-profit organization and grew to provide a wide variety of services. Its mission has remained the same: “to help people improve their quality of life and reach their full potential” with a particular focus on serving “underserved populations” and helping those who might otherwise be isolated. People in the correctional system have traditionally carried society’s stigma which has led to many being underserved, and often isolated. This transitional-living program is an extension of Triniteam’s mission.
